Find Your Reader | Ego-Inflation is Everywhere

The Psychic/Medium world parading around television and social media likes to portray the Reader as a Super Hero with Super Powers which results in a ego-inflated Reader eagerly boasting about one's skills which are exaggerated and unrealistic.

As you can hopefully tell from all of the information around my website...I really care about people knowing about the grounded, actual reality of the Psychic & Mediumistic Arts. So! I find that it is necessary for people to understand the foolishness so they can approach this work/field/profession just like they do with every other trade.

Remember that a Reader (Psychic/Medium) is human and Psychism is a Human Skill - that's it. Nothing is special about it. The more you ground this work into your perceptions then it'll be easier for you to understand your personal Intuitive Instrument.

Imagine you were someone who was deeply wounded...All of a sudden you discover your Intuitive Talent...You start receiving praise for your specialness...Without doing the Great Inner Work, you succumb to the rise of your inflated ego...You believe that you're a gift from God...You exaggerate your skills...you lose all humility...You become dangerous.

Choosing your Reader requires you to be knowledgable, to do your research, to request assistance from Higher Mind / God Force / Spirit, to allow yourself to be healthy skeptical without being cynical and/or closed off, and you may need to go to various Readers until you find the one that fits your style.

Just like with Therapy. You may find that the first person you go to isn't a great match for you. That doesn't mean the therapist isn't a therapist. It just means that you don't match well. So you find someone else.

Just like with your hair. You may find one person cuts it so well, you vibe nicely together, and you enjoy your time in that person's chair...while other times you find yourself at a stylist that isn't your favorite. Once again, your non-favorite is still a stylist even if you don't like the person.

I really learned that I can't read everyone equally and some people I really cannot read at all. Higher Mind constructed my curriculum so it was probably a year or so until I finally attempted to read someone and the reading was just not that good. I wrote a lot on my FAQ about my refund policy. If after 15 minutes there are more "No" responses then there isn't a satisfactory link and I then refund the client. It happens.

So this entry is to remind you that this field/profession/work is like any other so you want to ensure that you're willing to hire a Reader, try him/her out, and either return or go find another Reader. Some people are deeply ingrained in their inflated ego while others are just trying to do their best and to help people
